What we have here is a 'Shipped-Free' 1943 Custom-Built Harley-Davidson WLC Hardtail Canadian model in great condition
Comes equipped with a Military motor, stroked from 45.00ci to 55.00ci
Also in a Paughco frame with a rebuilt 4-Speed Ratchet Top Gear box
This bike is between 36hp to 40hp, up from the Stock 23hp motor
Has also been stroked to 55.00ci using Truett & Osborn 4.625 Stroker Dynamically Balanced Flywheels, with Truett & Osborn Short Stroker Pistons
The Motor has 0.1875-inch larger Intake Valves
All regrounded Hot Cams by Jim Leineweber have been lightened a total of 3 pounds of Spinning weight as well!
Absolutely none of the Parts have been weakened!
The Modifications are definitely not detrimental to the longevity of this beautifully built Motor
The Carb is exactly mated to both the Manifold and Intake Ports, and have been ported to a 320 finish
0.1875-inch larger Intake Valves, regrounded Cams by Jim Leineweber with .040 more Lift and 15-Degrees more duration on the intake lobes only. The color is candy teal powder coat with computer generated Gold Leaf Striping
The entire Frame is Powder-coated in Sherwood-Green metallic
Has a lined, 1966 Triumph Bonneville Gas tank (there is a small Powder-coater's Thumb print on the right front of the Gas tank about the size of a nickle)
Notice the right side photo of the Gas tank - this is where the print is, and it is hardly noticeable
Well made 'Paughco Z Handle Bars with Tach and Kilometer Speedo (the first MPH Speedo broke, and had this brand new KPH Speedo, on the shelf, so installed it to keep from getting a ticket
Paughco, 1.75-inch, side Upsweep Exhaust pipes that have a super 'Throaty' growl to it, along with Paughco Oil tank and Transmission Plate
Standard 12-Volts Generator with Cycle Electrics Generator End Regulator
The Ignition is Auto-Advance, Points and Condenser
2 high-intensity Headlights with their own Switch adjoin a 4-inch Main headlight that will burn the Paint off the oncoming cars
Contains a Daytime Running Light (few can see it, but covers the law)
Love the brighter lights for Daytime use as well!
There is a lit up "Volt Meter" between them
This Primary Belt Drive, Kick Start Harley-Davidson usually starts with 2 Chokes (needs to sit for a minute) and one, stern Ignition kick - usually works
22T Transmission Sprocket and 48T rear Sprocket
3-Position Key Switch on the right side
Off-Ignition-Lights mounted on Kick Start cover
The very strong rear Fender Struts make it easy to mount a second seat on the rear Fender
The Motor has Nickle-Plated Aluminum Heads and Cam cover - nice!
"The Mouse that Roared" has a "Beside the left side of the Gas tank", Jockey Shift Lever, with Indian Knob and a left side Rocker Clutch Pedal (1913 to 1964)
